The Media section
has been updated with a great number of Audio
Interviews. The members were interviewed by different
mediums between 1985
and 2004, so you can find interesting
stuff to listen regarding the whole history of Skinny Puppy
and some of the other projects, too.

The long time awaited new album Mythmaker will be released on Synthetic Symphony in January 2007. The album is available to pre-order at MusicNonStop. The release date is not sure yet (probably 29th) and it has been rumoured that maybe those are not the final song titles. However it is, we can't wait!

After the triumphant concert held at the Wave Gotik Treffen
in Lipsia, :BAHNTIER//
comes back with his third album. This time the eclectic Stefano
Rossello, in addition to his inseparable companion
Filippo Corradin, is
accompanied by Justin Bennett
live drummer of Skinny Puppy, who has worked
hard to leave an indelible mark with his drumming virtuosity and violent
percussions. The album is characterized by a suffering atmosphere marked
by extreme, compact tracks and surely it's technical and artistic level is
very high. Distorted vocals ranging from hard industrial sounds to great
piano compositions, extremely fast noise rhythms and real electro hard
hits not heard in a long time. Produced by Stefano Rossello with Justin Bennett. Assembled and mastered by European industrial electronic music
mastermind Erik Van Wonterghem (Insekt, Sonar, Monolith, Klinik). Label is Rustblade.

A new company that will focus on scoring, sound

music licensing, and remixes. A website is currently being designed and a
cool
demo reel of the
scaremeister
will be available shortly there.

This thread definetly got more attention than I expected so I definetly would
like to clarify that our energy for the last year
has gone into a new Skinny Puppy LP. It has been my single focus of my energy
since 2004.

Seventh dose - When Everyone Learns the Truth!
Ministry - Sziget 2006
Tonight is the first time when legendary MINISTRY
- headed by Al Jourgensen - is going to
appear in our little country at Sziget Festival.
MINISTRY started about at the same time as Skinny Puppy as a sick-electro band
more than 20 years ago and reached its present - and according to the news -
the final form in the course of a gradual metamorphosis. Their run shows
paralellism not only in timing. Besides the common tour and the appearances of
the Pigface
collective they worked together on several albums. The song Smothered
Hope was included in their former tour's repertory even without
Ogre's appearance. The first common job was a PTP song - Show Me Your Spine. Later on, Al
joined to the Rabies era with guitars, background vocal and as the co-producer of the album.
Ogre appeared on the stage
again on some concerts during the Fornicatour in 2003. Al and
Ogre planned a
common project too. The formation was titled as WELT
- When Everyone Learns the Truth, but only one song, Noreen
has became known from this period. Perhaps
the first ohGr album realized this idea.
The present tour and also the latest
Ministry albums - similarly to Skinny
Puppy - keenly criticize the current leaders for their agression and bloody
policy. Al
announced the next album as the last one. He would like to use the
existing but undeveloped ideas and later on he would like to dedicate his time
to his record company and his profession. He is going to teach History...

Fifth Dose - Warfare Behind
Media is a weapon. We have already known this. We feel it every single day.
In
Articles you
can read a writing, about the completion of an ongoing
antiutopia, we quoted it from The
Greater Wrong of the Right live DVD,
it could be seen during VX Gas Attack on the background
screen.
On the special features disc of the DVD, there is a mini documentary too,
titled Information Warfare made by William Morrison. The subject of the
documentary is Civilian casualties in the middle east and the use of depleted
uranium in the battlefield. William made it downloadable at a micro site and
in his blog asked everyone to re-distribute the link and or the film itself. You can find it here: Information Warfare

Fourth Dose – Heritage, Planet Earth
In order to satisfy wishes arrived to us, skinnypuppy.hu is available in English from today.
We start the international debut with a real domestic curiosity inherited from the generous industrial.hu: cEvin Key’s reminiscence about Skinny Puppy’s visit to Budapest in 1986, in Articles, illustrated with never seen concert photos provided by welt.
Keeping our promise, in the Media Section we start publishing the concert recorded on the last year’s Sziget festival. In the first run, you can see and download the Intro and Tormentor.
The menu-system has been expanded by adding Sideprojects, where the members’ parallel activities are collected.
The purpose of this site is not only to collect and publish media-treasures but to have an insight behind the Skinny Puppy phenomenon; to open an alternative point of view to our present, future and our inside world.
During the following weeks, we are frequently going to update the site with articles, accounts, galleries and related background materials, henceforward waiting for your related materials.
